The construction of a virtual and realistic model of the AGORA building as part of an architectural competition which will house the Swiss Cancer Research Centre in 2016.
Commissioned by Cougar Management, the competition’s coordinator, based at Lausanne, we virtually modeled a large part of Lausanne’s City Hospital so as to generate a precise model through 3D printing.
Produce a realistic large-scale model measuring 120cm x 80 cm via 3D printing technology. Nine smaller models were also printed using such technology. These smaller models represent the different buildings that were made by the architectural studios selected for the competition. The larger model has a small hole where the nine smaller ones can be set into. Thus, the experts could get a more precise idea of the projects that were presented.
