SIG Geneva, augmented reality for the Optikus exposition
A two-month exposition on fibre optics at the Cité du Temps organised by the SIG (Geneva).
In charge of the overall campaign, Euro RSCG commissioned Avenue Digital Media (ADM) to produce one of the animations for the exposition. Based on the general concept, an experiment in augmented reality was set up by ADM allowing visitors to customize a virtual helmet. It is fitted to the face of the user using the face tracking method and then the user is able to take a photo which is published directly on Facebook. Finally, the visitor has the possibility to make a short video which, if he wants, can be sent to his own Facebook page.
